Over seven years ago, we moved out of our old home in Navotas where I spent my childhood and most of my young adult life. I refused to live here in Malabon, so we were forced to buy a new house and lot in Bulacan, far from the places most familiar to us.
My dream garden – with plants all around me.
We had a plan laid out for that house. Because I mostly watch American TV series, I’ve always envied how kids in the US get to play at their backyards, and how adults barbecue or just leisurely spend time at their gardens, grow plants or relax under a tree. I wanted that. So, it was my idea to make sure that we have a front yard at our home in Bulacan.
Our home garden now in Malabon.
Since all those didn’t push through because fate had other plans for us and since my nanay was very fond of my idea, we were able to put up our own backyard and garden here at our home in Malabon. I just wish we had a front yard too, covered with grass where we can all hang out and pass the time.
I want a swing like this in my future garden.
Now, I feel like our home’s too overcrowded with our things that I’m longing to get out of here and find a place of my own. Since I plan to raise kids of my own, I want to make sure they have plenty of room to play at my future home. We can all be creative and put up our own personalized garden flags inspired by their favorite characters. Or we can design it for special occasions like Easter or Halloween. 🙂
I have to admit, I’ve been wanting to own a condominium unit of my own instead of a house and lot, but looking forward to the future, my future, I feel like it’ll not be the best decision. I still want that garden where I can grow my own herbs, and I want my own kitchen, so I can cook more. 🙂
I love these labeled pots for herbs.
By 2013, I know I’ll be done with my current financial obligations, so I can focus on seriously saving money for my future. It’s always good to have a goal in mind to keep you motivated. So, wish me luck! 🙂
good luck and god bless on your future plan..:))
Wishing you luck.
