I remember back in my younger years, I used to own several scented pens, erasers, notepads, and those tiny air fresheners I loved collecting. Though some of the kids my age at that time might have thought there’s no sense in owning these sweet-smelling items, remember Legally Blonde? The scent does add something to the usual stuff like writing or completing an assignment, etc. Now, how about these Juicy Electronics Scented earphones? I say it’s a cool, fruity idea.
I got a box of the Juice Box scented earphones in Apple scent for review. I took several photos of the packaging and if you check my album, you’d realize how much I LOVED the whole juice carton box concept. 😀
The sides even have a space for Nutritional Information, but if you read closely, you’d see they scored 100% on bass, clarity, comfort and experience. Pretty cool, inventive packaging.
The smell? As soon as I got the box out of the courier packaging, its apple scent wafted in the air so pleasantly. I love the smell of green apple on anything. The cables, the earphones itself and the ear plugs silicon tips are all scented, but not too strongly.
There are replacement ear plugs included that I wish were kept tightly somewhere ‘cause while I was taking photos of this, I almost lost 2. 😀
The in-ear, teardrop design actually made these Juicy scented earphones very comfortable to use. Though I usually have second thoughts about using these in-ear ones because of hygienic reasons, I was delighted to know how much background noise it eliminates. I tried playing REAL loud music on my desktop, with the speakers blasting, while I listen to music on full volume on my laptop. Verdict? I was still able to hear my laptop music clearly.
Though these aren’t the best pair of earphones I’ve used, they’re pretty decent. They pride in the bass quality produced by this model of earphones and I wasn’t disappointed.
Here are specifications of the Juice Box scented earphones:
- Cable length: 1.2 m
- Plug type: 3.5 mm
- Max input power: 100 mw
- Frequency response: 22kHz
- Made from the finest hand-picked ingredients, according to the packaging.
Now, I wonder how long the scent will last. Though I don’t really expect it to smell this fruity for an extended period of time, maybe it’ll stay for months, depending on how you’re using it.
These Juicy Electronics scented earphones are priced at Php 950. The ones with remote and mic are at Php 1,200. They’re available at these stores:
- Beyond The Box
- Digital Hub
- Digital Walker
- iStudio
- Bratpack
- Hobbes And Landes
- Technoholics
- iGig
- Gadgets In Style
What do you think of these scented earphones? Curious enough? 😉
