Would You Recommend an Online Store?

Feb 19, 2012 | 16 comments

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with online shopping. Since I’ve been teaching myself on makeup applications, especially on different looks on eye shadows, I’ve bought a ton of makeup tools already. I even recently bought a Sigma F80 brush that I can’t wait to claim from customs. 😀 Pfft. I have to pay extra Php 40, plus additional for transportation. The reason why I bought from their site directly is because I want to be 100% sure that I’m buying genuine Sigma F80 brushes. I’m a bit of a paranoid when it comes to buying anything expensive like a Php 700+ brush so I chose to do it directly from them.

Anyway, I wanted to know what online sites or stores would you recommend or buy from. Currently, I can only attest and highly recommend these online stores:

  • Digital Traincase – I’ve bought Nyx products (eye primer, a lippie and eyeliner) and China Glaze Crackle from them. Will be posting a review here very soon. 🙂Nyx products and China Glaze Crackle I bought from Digital Traincase
  • behappywithme – I’ve mentioned about buying numerous beauty products from them. The seller was VERY helpful. I would recommend buying Skinfood products from this store ’cause I got the Skinfood Black Bean Eye Brow Pencil for half the price! 🙂
  • DBGadgets – I bought my Canon IXUS 220HS from them. Fast transaction and the camera is still with me and still works like brand new. The price was way cheaper than if I bought from somewhere else. I’m planning on buying new lens for my Nikon D3100 from them soon. 🙂My Canon IXUS 220HS I bought from DBGadgets

I’ve got a few more, but I have to try out more of their products first before I can recommend them here. I’m also planning on buying shoes online to see if it’ll work for me too. I hate roaming around malls and not find the style I want. So far, I’ve got a ton of online stores (mostly on Multiply – I love the Marketplace!) I’ve bookmarked their sites and hopefully, I can make a purchase by the end of this month. I’m eyeing on this particular black wedge shoes and I’ll show them to you once I’ve bought them.

I’m hoping to get your thoughts on this as well.  So, pretty, pretty please. Answer these questions through the comments section:

  • What online stores have you bought from and you would recommend?
  • What have you bought from them?
  • Tell me why you recommend the store.

The online stores don’t have to be selling kikay stuff or just shoes and makeup. Recommend any store, even those that sell furniture (I’m in the market for a new computer desk and chair!) or anything you’d think I’d be interested in. I’m a geek, a foodie and a kikay wannabe. 😀

Can’t wait to read about your recommendations! 🙂

For Apple fanatics, I would recommend the eBay.ph seller spongybob2008 (http://myworld.ebay.ph/spongybob2008/?_trksid=p4340.l2559). He/she sells Apple certified accessories (Simplism and Belkin brands) and I would never doubt the authenticity of the products. Unbelievably low price, next-day delivery and FREE shipping!

This guy should be given an award.

    I’d recommend me but that’s biased :p

I would recommend http:www.mybaghabits.multiply.com from where I bought a bag which I blogged about – “Mybaghabits is owned & run by Vida. She is very professional, fuss-free, accommodating & very friendly.” http://bit.ly/yo7JZI

I’ve also tried out Queen Street’s Online Store http://www.facebook.com/queenstreetbags for a made-to-order bag which I also blogged about here: http://bit.ly/zDtJWL – “they make a variety of bags at very affordable prices.”

Bought detachable collars from http://missartorial.multiply.com/ and experienced a hassle-free transaction.

I’ve gotten my kids (aka my dogs) assorted stuff about 2 years ago from http://woofland.multiply.com. I’m just not sure if it’s still in business though.

I’ll come back here when I remember more of my online transactions. My brain seems to be still half asleep. LOL

Furniture- nemiefurniture.multiply.com (they have a showroom) — haven’t tried buying from them but they have a lot of good furnitures. Also a trusted seller in multiply.
US Pre orders:myonlineshopper.multiply.com — multiple transactions with Ms. Cat from shoes, clothes and beauty products. She can do meet ups in G5. She’s so nice and if you’re a repeat customer, cheaper deposit.houseofflair.multiply.com — also had multiply trasactions with Ms. Suyen. Free shipping anywhere in the philippines for pre-orders. I ordered mostly clothes. What’s so nice with Ms. Suyen is that she takes time to wrap your items.:)

The only reason why you’re not yet listed here is because I haven’t personally bought from you yet, but I did win in your Twitter giveaway and I loved the Too Faced eye primer. 🙂

That’s ok. It’s one of the top brands for eye primer so I’m glad you love it. 🙂

Thank you for your recommendations. I love House of Flair too, but I haven’t bought from them yet. I did win in her Twitter giveaway before though and I loved the Too Faced eye primer I got. 🙂
