Listening to music keeps me going, and so I’m pretty picky when it comes to the headphones I use. I’m big on high quality bass, so I was quite happy with these AIAIAI Tracks Headphones. In fact, my brother, who’s more particular about products like this, was extremely happy.
The brand name, first time I heard it, reminded me of a line from this OPM song by a sexy actress. I don’t want to mention any other detail, but I think most people from my country would get my drift. 😉
AIAIAI is actually an audio design company whose main focus is to develop high quality audio products for daily use. They’re known for their modern, minimalist headphones and earphones that deliver high quality, clear and amplified sound.
I got to review their Tracks Headphone for iPods, iPhones and iPads. I found out that this headphone actually won awards for its superior audio quality, subtle design that’s mainly focused on simple lines and iconic shape.
I’ve never seen anything quite like the AIAIAI Tracks Headphones. When I unboxed it, the first thing that I noticed is how much this Blush + Plum headphone resemble a woman’s bosom. 😀
The black version of AIAIAI Tracks Headphone is love. 🙂
If I only didn’t have a sensitive head, I’d definitely want this for keeps.
Tracks is made of light-weight, stainless steel headband that provides its users a good fit. Sadly though, having a very sensitive head made me uncomfortable when I wore the headband on me. My bro liked it though. I do agree with the fit. It might take a little getting used to, but it sure holds the ear cups firmly to place.
Tracks comes with 3 interchangeable colored sliders in every set. You can change it whenever, and it’ll look like you’re using different headphones. These sliders are what makes it easy to adjust and glide the earphones to position them to your liking.
The ear cups are detachable, perfect for those who are always on-the-go. Simply glide the sliders to remove the ear cups and store them. This might be a concern though for those who prefer putting on their headphones without having to assemble the whole thing. Oh, and by the way, the headphones come with a carrying pouch.
The angled stereo plug is 3.5mm in thickness and it’s gold-plated. It also has a 3-button in-line microphone that you can use for volume control, answering calls or player controls.
Now, let’s go back to the quality of sound. Its 40mm driver does give you an excellent bass. However, I noticed that it can be problematic when you’re listening to music while in a noisy environment. I barely can hear the music, so this will be perfect for listening at home or somewhere a little quiet, and not for those who use headphones to clear their head from outside noise. Still, way above average sound quality for me.
